Web Development for Shepherd’s Door

Domestic violence is a complicated issue and Pasadena has surprisingly few resources for victims or perpetrators. Shepherd’s Door (shepherddoor.org) is a resource center for victims of domestic violence, with a storefront center, phone assistance and a website full of resources. Because their website contained so much content, the site was not as easy to navigate as founder Linda Offray wanted. JRP provided marketing volunteer Gladys Gundrum to edit the site, steamline content and improve user experience. Gladys spent over 30 hours helping Linda think through who uses their site and why, helping to streamline resources for domestic violence and their supporters, as well as help potential volunteers and donors get involved in preventing violence and supporting Shepherd’s Door. Many thanks to Gladys for sharing your expertise, which will help more familiesbreak cycles of violence and be happy and healthy!
