Monrovia Historical Groups Gather to Strengthen

Published Categorized as JRP Blog Tagged , , ,

Three wonderfully engaged Monrovia historical preservation groups came together recently for collaborative Board training with the goal of wanting to enrich board operations and increase visibility within the community.  Jericho Road Pasadena volunteer Natasha Morisawa led 14 board members from Monrovia Historic Preservation Group, Monrovia Historical Museum and Monrovia Historical Society into lively discussions around board efficiency and recruitment, fundraising and marketing.  What does this mean for Monrovia?  The city’s character and identity plus vital cultural resources will be maintained and protected with strong, well-trained volunteer support.   A win for the whole community! We loved working with Monrovia’s historical groups and our experienced volunteer Natasha.
