Volunteers at Jericho Road Pasadena Volunteer Open House

Jericho Road Pasadena recently had a listening session to hear what our volunteers like about working with us and what we can improve. Attendees love using their skills and also building new skills, they like the efficiency of getting matched with organizations that really need their expertise and they like having clear projects with timelines and boundaries. They also like sharing their expertise with different nonprofits, as they are exposed to new causes and organizations. Words like bridging, building, matching, strengthening, and paving the way came to mind. They also like the ripple effect of their work: helping a nonprofit means the organization does better work for years to come. What do you like about volunteering with JRP? Or have you thought about volunteering but don’t quite understand what we do? Feel free to share any thoughts here or contact us at 626-714-7234. Thank you to the volunteers who attended the listening session and all the volunteers doing wonderful work in our community!
