The Pasadena Arts Council (pasadenaartscouncil.org) has been an independent voice facilitating, empowering and advocating for the arts since 1964.They act as fiscal agent for over 100 arts programs, bring the city together through art and science programs and create a region supports the arts. Like good artists, they are always thinking outside the box and wanted to have a board retreat in which board members would dive deep into their vision, mission and values. They asked JRP for a pro bono facilitator who would guide the board through these comprehensive questions about identity and we had the perfect fit! Executive coach and organizational development expert Dan Stover (integratedleader.com) worked with the PAC board for 3 months leading up to the retreat to understand each person’s vision for the organization and then brought them together in November to unify their vision and passion for PAC and creating a region full of art. Robert Crouch, PAC Executive Director, said “this collaboration with Dan Stover and Jericho Road, has been incredibly fruitful. At the end of the retreat, PAC had reached clarity on our core values and had written a draft of a new mission statement.” JRP is so happy that in 3 short months, Dan was able to help PAC to have more clarity on mission and engage the board’s passion for the arts with the plan for the organization. Thank you, Dan, for facilitating a great retreat and thank you, PAC, for promoting beauty in our community!
