We usually help local nonprofits, but sometimes Jericho Road Pasadena’s capacity-building work has a global impact. Transitional English & Global Dialects’ (globlec.org/home-en.html) mission is to create better global communication by helping more people speak the most common languages. JRP volunteer Adrian Cook (acookdesignstudios.com) gave 400 hours of pro bono time to create TEGD’s Chinese & English website, which is free for Chinese speakers anywhere in the world to use! 謝謝 and thank you to Adrian for sharing so much of your time and talent to help and helping Chinese speakers, whether in Pasadena or Pingliang learn English. We hope we’ve had a small impact on global communication and understanding, and ultimately world peace through our support of TEGD!
