One of our great nonprofit partners, Journey House (journeyhouseyouth.org) has opened a thrift store at 453 East Orange Grove (on the corner of Los Robles). Journey House helps youth aging out of the foster care system to become successful adults. The thrift store will provide job training and opportunities, as well as raising money to support this high-need population. JRP is happy to have played a role in this social enterprise; business development volunteer Louise Wannier developed a business plan for the store last year; we’re so excited to the see the plan come to fruition!
