I love Ten Thousand Villages‘ fair trade store on South Lake Avenue. I have a beautiful Pakistani rug among other lovely items from the store. So I was very excited when Holly Hight, who attended our March session of The Leadership Connection, joined their board after going through the class. This was the first TLC graduate to be placed this year! Although I love being a match-maker between great people and great nonprofits, my burning question is: do I somehow get a permanent discount at the store??
