We’ve done many projects with Friends in Deed (friendsindeedpas.org), which is one of JRP’s favorite local nonprofits. This month, I’ll do a series of throwbacks of all the work we’ve done with this great organization. Friends In Deed accepts donations of food for the pantry (especially peanut butter, canned meats, soups, cereals and grains), any time, but they especially need these items in summer. From Dec. 2014: Friends In Deed (www.friendsindeedpas.org) provides a bad-weather shelter, a food pantry, and resources for people at risk of homelessness. With so many needs to take care of, how do they marketing their services to clients, volunteers and donors? They ask JRP for help! Sarah Emery Bunn of Bliss Mission created a strategy for marketing their December fundraising event and is now helping them improve their overall web presence.
