HR Project for the Pasadena Conservatory of Music

JRP has just completed our first project with the Pasadena Conservatory of Music, an employee manual update. PCM is a wonderful local resource for both children and adults who want to learn to play an instrument or simply appreciate music more. HR expert Betty Lui-Hong helped PCM’s highly capable staff update their manual so that their variety of regular employees and part-time instructors have a great experience working there and continue to expose more Pasadeneans to music. Thanks, PCM, for running a great nonprofit and thanks, Betty, for sharing your extensive human resources knowledge with them! (I have no musical talent at all and Exec. Dir. Stephen McCurry graciously told me they accept students or all levels and abilities, so if you have any interested in playing an instrument or singing, I suggest you check them out!)

Jericho Road Pasadena connects skilled volunteers and board members with nonprofits that offer critical services to under-served residents in their communities. Meeting this need allows nonprofit staff to focus on stronger delivery of services, thereby building better communities.
