From January 2015: College Access Plan (collegeaccessplan.org) helps Pasadena youth, especially under-served teens, plan for college. CAP is also great about planning for their own development, maintaining excellent budgets, income forecasts and fundraising strategy as the organization grows. They have grown by leaps and bounds since opening in 2006, so are now thinking about how they can continue to grow sustainably; enter JRP volunteer Earl Yaokasin, a financial planner, who will help CAP look at their finances and funding stream in new ways, especially looking long-term at their ability to continue growing. Thanks to Earl for volunteering with CAP, and to CAP for helping all kids reach their educational potential!
