There are lots of wonderful resources online to help you be an educated and informed voter. Ballotpedia (ballotpedia.org) is a digital encyclopedia of American politics and elections, whose goal is to inform people about politics by providing accurate and objective information about politics at all levels of government.

Locally, you can start looking at your sample ballot well before election day: https://lavote.net/home/voting-elections/current-elections/find-my-election-information. Start researching the ballot measure that are most important to you now so that you’re not overwhelmed in the few days before the election.

I love the Easy Voter Guide! The aim of the Easy Voter Guide project is to make nonpartisan information about why vote, how to vote and what’s on the ballot accessible to as many Californians as possible. Founded in 1994, the Easy Voter Guide project is a collaboration of the League of Women Voters of California Education Fund, the California State Library and the Common Knowledge Group.

The League of Women Voters has great resources and some advocacy positions: https://lwv-pa.org/other-sources/.

Of course, don’t forget to vote on Nov. 6!
