What is coffee with a cause? Rosebud Coffee (rosebudcoffee.com) has been provided job training for at-risk youth for several years, using a coffee cart stationed at Rose City Church. Due to the coffee cart’s success, Rosebud opened a permanent coffee shop location at 2302 East Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena a year ago.
As a brand-new social enterprise, Rosebud needs a lot of guidance on how to run a business that’s neither exactly a for-profit nor a nonprofit. JRP placed business development expert Andy Eaton at Rosebud to help founder Rev. Dan Davidson last year to help build an advisory, of which Andy is now chair! JRP loves these perfect matches: Rosebud has a smart and experienced advisory board chair and newly-retired Andy has a great venture to use his time and talent in a great way.
