I’m always so touched and grateful for people’s generosity. Our fiscal year starts July 1, when I zero out the fundraising thermometer, which often sits sad and empty through the summer. But we just received another donation, and I LOVE to inch our fundraising thermometer up. ! I’m not sure I should get this excited whenever we get a donation, but I feel like Sally Fields: “you love us, you really love us!” Thanks to all of the many generous people who keep nonprofits doing their good work year after year!
(Really, I’d probably be excited if someone came by to give us a shiny penny, but I do like checks and online donations more. Ice cream would be a welcome donation too.)
