JRP’s model is to provide short-term volunteer consulting help, but our services often lead to long-term connections in the community. In May, we reported on a strategic planning project we had done for Wellness Works, a veteran-serving organization. Wellness Works started looking for a new Exec. Dir. in the fall, and who better to hire than the awesome volunteer, Lori Mizuno, who developed their strategic plan? Wellness Works officially hired Lori in November and we met with her today to see what else JRP can do for the organization.
This great story reminds us that JRP is not just a pro bono consulting company; we have a ripple effect of bridging the gaps in our community that have long-term effects for organizations, their clients, and our volunteers. Thanks to Lori for being a great volunteer; we look forward to hearing about the life-transforming work you do for veterans!
