Flashback Friday: Wikipedia Page for Pasadena Museum of History

As JRP celebrates our 10th anniversary, we are looking back at some of the great organizations we have helped. Our volunteers have done several projects for the Pasadena Museum of History,  which promotes an appreciation of history, culture, arts, and sciences relevant to Pasadena and adjoining communities.

From September 2015:

JRP receives many requests for help with online presence, but had never received a request for help with Wikipedia. Wikipedia discourages organization staff from writing their own page, as Wikipedia content is supposed to come from the public at large. JRP volunteer writer David Drum (www.daviddrumthewriter.com) wrote or updated 3 Wikipedia pages for the Museum, providing more historical information to the general public and bringing more people to the Museum. Thanks to David for tackling a new kind of project for JRP and the Pasadena Museum of History!
