Position Title: Membership and Engagement Coordinator

The Membership and Stewardship Coordinator coordinates the church’s efforts to welcome, engage and nurture both new and established members and friends, as part of the church’s
overall mission to create and grow an inclusive religious community connected by love, spirit, and service. In these unique pandemic times, we are looking for creative leadership to help
engage congregants in virtual programming and to help develop a marketing plan to reach new people.
Hours: 20 hours/week. Flexible weekday schedule to be planned with Sr. Minister during business hours. Some evening meetings required. Sunday hours required: 9:30 am- 1:00 pm
Membership, Retention and Volunteer Recruiting
● Partner with staff and volunteers to create and support engagement opportunities for members of the congregation
● Connect current members with volunteer, leadership and fellowship opportunities to deepen their relationship with the church and the larger Unitarian Universalist world, including our district and denominational activities (PSWD programs, General Assembly, etc.)
● Assist in the Annual Pledge Drive Administrative Duties
● Contribute relevant updates to the Senior Minister’s board report due to the Sr. Minister by the Tuesday before the Sunday board meeting
● Work with Marketing and Communications Coordinator to develop a marketing plan for reaching potential new members
