Black Friday, Native American Heritage Style

I try to be a responsible consumer and one of my favorite places to shop is the Southwest Indian Foundation store (southwestindian.com). Their mission is to lessen the poverty and unemployment among the Native Americans of the Southwest, specifically members of the Navajo, Zuni, Hopi, Laguna, Acoma, and Apache. Through self-help initiatives and charitable donations, SIF helps to restore dignity and self-reliance to these native peoples. They have an extensive catalogue with many items made in the Southwest. (Melanie really likes item 8659, a black tunic, just in case you were wondering what to get your favorite local nonprofit staff!)
