From March 2013:

I’m so excited to complete JRP’s largest project to date. One of our great volunteers, Trip Oldfield, has completed a year-long project for CARES, the auxiliary for LAC – USC Medical Center. Trip was their temporary Chief Financial Officer, helping them develop better accounting and bookkeeping systems, training staff and looking at the most efficient practices long-term for them to keep their complex finances in order. Trip donated 220 hours of his time to the project, and saved CARES thousands of dollars. CARES is a great organization which provides a variety of support to the hospital’s patients, including child care so that patients can see a doctor without having to entertain their kids during the visit.

Thank you to Trip for his volunteer time and to CARES for the great and much-needed help they provide!

Trip will teach JRP’s 4-part Effective Board workshop on Resource Development on August 20 & 27 and September 10 & 17, 2021 9:30 – 11:30 am; visit https://jrpasadena.org/events/effective-board-workshop-fund-development/ for more information.
