Board Development Project for Altadena Library Foundation
Last week, we posted about placing a new board member with the Altadena Library Foundation. JRP has worked a lot with the Altadena Library, including board development with the Foundation when they first opened; we’re so glad to have helped the Foundation grow and thrive! From November 2013:
Many thanks to awesome volunteer David Shechtman for helping the Altadena Library Foundation board grow! The Altadena Public Library is a well-loved and well-used resource for this diverse and often under-resourced community. They have been a small, but effective, board, and need new members to raise money for the library. David’s assessment of what skills are needed on the board, recruitment strategy and job descriptions, will help them get the right helping hands on the board. Thanks, David, and thanks to the Foundation board for helping the Altadena Library be so great!
