The Pasadena Community Foundation (PCF) has announced the launch of its Arts & Culture Grant Program. This program is designed to provide financial support to nonprofit organizations in the arts and cultural sector that serve the greater Pasadena area.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the arts community, and many organizations have been struggling to stay afloat. With extended closures and reduced attendance, the financial strain has been immense. Recognizing the unique challenges facing the arts community, PCF is committed to supporting the recovery and revitalization of this critical sector.
The Arts & Culture Grant Program is open to nonprofit organizations that serve the greater Pasadena area, including those focused on visual arts, performing arts, literary arts, and cultural heritage. The grants will be awarded on a competitive basis, with a total of $200,000 available to support the selected organizations.
PCF recognizes that this funding is needed to help rebuild and reimagine the arts sector. The program will provide not only financial support but also opportunities for organizations to collaborate and share resources, fostering a stronger, more resilient arts community in the Pasadena area.
Applications for the Arts & Culture Grant Program are now open and will be accepted until April 27, 2023, at 5:00 PM. Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply, and more information can be found on the PCF website.
