Call For Art: Remembrance 2023

The Arroyo Arts Collective again asks artists to explore a deepened understanding and meaning of All Saints Day, Dia de los Muertos, Ching Ming, Obon, Samhain, the Mourner’s Kaddish and of all rituals, historically and worldwide, associated with how they grieve, how they continue to love, and how they go on in the face of loss.�They are accepting submissions for 2-dimensional work, in any media, no larger than 24”x 24” (including frame),

Location: A Blank White Box, 6189 N Figueroa Street, 90042

Work Accepted: Wall hanging art, no larger than 24” x 24” (including frame). All work must have wire attached to the back for hanging and must weigh less than 30 lbs. All work must be for sale.

Entry Fee: There is no entry fee, but any artist chosen to exhibit MUST BE/BECOME A CURRENT MEMBER OF THE ARROYO ARTS COLLECTIVE. To become a member, visit www.arroyoartscollective.org, click on the JOIN link

Things To Know:�• Each artist will be required to sit the gallery Shifts to be determined.�• Artists will be responsible for all sales and a 10% commission will be charged to all art sold, so please price your work accordingly.
