🌟In the aftermath of the Eaton Fire, Friends in Deed is offering comfort, care, and support to our community during this challenging time.
🍞The Food Pantry is operating as normal:
Tuesday & Wednesday: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m.– 1 p.m.
🏠The Bad Weather Shelter is open 24/7 through Thursday morning, January 16th, to offer a safe and welcoming space for those experiencing homelessness.
🌸The Women’s Room is closed this week. TWR guests are encouraged to visit the Bad Weather Shelter for meals and resources.
The Bad Weather Shelter is open at Trinity Lutheran Church on a weather-activated basis from January 7th through April 30th.
As of 1/15 it will be open until the morning1/16.
Weather-activated nights include:
- Forecast of 40 degrees or below;
- at least 40% chance of rain;
- and/or anticipated winds of 40 mph or higher.
