Jericho Road Pasadena is excited to share an important funding opportunity for nonprofits across Los Angeles County. The 2026 LA2050 Grants Challenge is now open, offering a chance for organizations to secure funding for programs and initiatives that strengthen our communities.
Up to $75,000 in Funding Available
Through its network of funding partners, LA2050 expects to award approximately $3 million in total funding this year. Individual grants of up to $75,000 will support innovative projects that address the issues that matter most to Angelenos.
How the Application Process Works
Part 1: Organization Screening
January 26 – April 22, 2026
The first stage is a competitive screening process focused on learning about your organization, your mission, and your capacity. Organizations selected in this phase will move forward to the next step.

Community Voting Determines Funding Priorities
March 18 – April 22
During this period, Angelenos vote on the issues they care about most. The results of this public vote determine the priority issue areas that will be eligible for funding in Part 2.
Part 2: Funding Proposal
April 29 – June 5, 2026
Organizations that advance from Part 1 will be invited to submit a proposal for a specific program, project, or initiative aligned with the top-voted issue areas.
Information Sessions Are Required
All applicants must attend a virtual Information Session before submitting Part 1. At least one representative from each organization is required to participate.
These sessions cover:
- Updated application process and timeline
- Funding priorities and expectations
- Tips for submitting a strong application
- Live Q&A with the LA2050 team
