Board Effectiveness Workshop Series

returns this summer!

Nonprofit boards provide governance and leadership while ensuring that sufficient resources are available to carry out their organization’s important mission. However, many board members have never been taught the basic expectations and responsibilities of board service. Board education and training is a vital part of any organization’s success.

This virtual 4-part workshop will cover:

  • Role of the Board
  • Board Development (Individual & Group)
  • Board-Staff Partnership
  • Establishing a Policy Focus
  • Strategic Planning
  • Successful Oversight
  • Fundraising
  • The Board’s Role in Financial management
  • Budgeting

The monthly workshop series is open to current board members, potential board members and nonprofit staff who interface with boards.

Since these are virtual, the sessions are open to all regardless of location. Plese feel free to share with anyone in your extended networks who you think would be benefit.

These workshops will give your board members the basic skills they need to help your organization be successful!
