This year’s Black History Parade and Festival in Pasadena promises to be a vibrant celebration of African American culture and heritage, with a special focus on honoring the life and legacy of the legendary Jackie Robinson, an iconic figure in American sports history who made significant contributions to both the Civil Rights Movement and the Pasadena community.
The parade will kick off at the corner of Fair Oaks Ave. and Mountain View Street, leading to Robinson Park at 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave. The festival, scheduled for February 17th from noon to 4 p.m., will offer a diverse array of activities and performances for attendees to enjoy.
