Elizabeth House Center for Mother & Child Wellbeing will host a community open house on Thursday, May 15 from 1 to 3 p.m. to celebrate 30 years of service.

The event at 559 N El Molino Ave. will showcase the organization’s three decades of sheltering, supporting and uplifting pregnant and parenting women in the San Gabriel Valley.

“We could not do what we do without our community partners, and we look forward to celebrating with old friends and new at this special open house,” Elizabeth House Executive Director Jill Hammer said. “We look forward to highlighting multiple generations of mothers—and now their grown children—who have gone on to achieve personal and professional success.”

The celebration will begin outdoors with light refreshments, followed by a short program that will include stories of inspiration and hope by Elizabeth House alumni and friends of the program.

A guided walking tour of the property will follow.

The gathering is part of an ongoing celebration of Elizabeth House’s third decade.

Elizabeth House is the only residential program in the San Gabriel Valley providing holistic care and services to pregnant women and their children up to age five. The organization has supported more than 1,000 women and children through its residential program over the past three decades.

The program offers shelter, case management, wellness resources, mentorship and mental health services designed to empower pregnant and parenting women while breaking the cycle of trauma and homelessness.
