The Huntington invites us to celebrate the coming of spring with a special exhibition, Festival of Dolls, an exhibit of works by Court Doll Master Hisashige Ito XII. From the 18th century, court dolls were displayed at Japan’s Imperial Palace and presented to feudal lords as commemorative gifts. Ito’s creations will be on display inside of the Shōya House on March 20-30 from noon to 4 p.m.
