In honor of Women’s History Month, Jericho Road Pasadena is highlighting women volunteers who generously share their professional skills to strengthen local nonprofits. Their leadership, expertise, and commitment help organizations across our community grow and better serve their missions.
One of those volunteers is Michelle Mapp, founder of Mapp Consulting Group, who has dedicated her career to supporting leaders and organizations through coaching, strategy, and thoughtful leadership development.
A Career Dedicated to Leadership and Impact
Michelle is a former nonprofit CEO with a background in communications, project management, and business. She holds an MBA, a graduate certificate in nonprofit management, and is a certified professional coach focused on helping leaders develop stronger ways of thinking and leading.
Through her consulting and coaching work, Michelle helps nonprofit leaders navigate complex challenges and develop leadership approaches that allow their organizations to thrive.
Giving Back Through Skilled Volunteering
Michelle has volunteered with Jericho Road Pasadena on several projects over the years, sharing her skills with organizations working to strengthen their programs and leadership.
“Through the years, I have volunteered with Jericho Road on several projects. I enjoy sharing my skills with local organizations and I find that I always learn and grow as a result of the project,” Michelle shared.
Her volunteer work has included providing marketing support for a Jewish school in Pasadena, supporting Arlington Garden, and offering leadership coaching for Friends in Deed.
