Higher Ground, Los Angeles Chapter (HGLA) provides effective therapeutic recreation services to military families confronted with traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress, military sexual trauma, polytrauma and homelessness. HGLA hosts week-long recreational therapy camps and day programs to give veterans and their supporters a better life. Jericho Road recruited non-profit management expert Mitch Dorger to provide expertise when HGLA asked for assistance creating a strategic plan for their newly opened LA Chapter. With previous military leadership experience and as past-president of Tournament of Roses Foundation Mitch was uniquely qualified to aide HGLA outline goals and strategies for long term success. Ultimately, this will have a great impact on local veterans and their supporters HGLA serves.
