DEI: Jericho Road Pasadena is committed to creating a culture of inclusion, where every individual feels valued and respected. We recognize that our organization’s success is dependent on the diversity of our volunteers, nonprofit clients, and community partners, and we are dedicated to fostering an environment where everyone can thrive and make a meaningful impact.
Skills-based volunteering: Since 2010, we have connected volunteer experts with nonprofits that offer critical services to underserved residents in their communities. By meeting the internal needs of these nonprofits – from strategic planning to marketing and IT – we allow nonprofit staff to focus on stronger delivery of services, thereby building better communities.
JRP follows a seven-step match-making and project management process that defines clear outcomes for the nonprofit and connects the right volunteer to the nonprofit’s need. Projects range from one-time consultations to year-long projects and may be executed by one volunteer or a team.
Workshops and Training: We offer a range of workshops throughout the year, open to anyone looking to improve their nonprofit. Our workshops cover topics like grant writing, fundraising, DEI, strategic planning, and more. We also host the ED Social Impact Training, a cohort-based program designed for CEOs and Executive Directors to enhance their leadership skills. For current workshops, visit Workshops – Jericho Road Pasadena.
Board Training and Placement: We offer board training through a series of monthly Effective Board workshops. The workshops are open to current board members, potential board members, and nonprofit staff who interface with boards. We offer matching services to attendees at the Effective Board workshop series and to community members who are looking for a new board to join.
Community Development: JRP is the fiscal agent for the Pasadena Executive Roundtable and participates in numerous other affinity groups.
