Flashback Friday: Database for the Pasadena Museum of History

As JRP celebrates our 10th anniversary, we are looking back at some of the great organizations we have helped. Our volunteers have done several projects for the Pasadena Museum of History,  which promotes an appreciation of history, culture, arts, and sciences relevant to Pasadena and adjoining communities.

From September 2014:

The Pasadena Museum of History has a wonderful collection of art and artifacts related to Pasadena, and a great tracking system for their assets. They also have a wonderful base of volunteers who fill roles ranging from docents and special event coordinators to office assistants. But they didn’t have a good database to track their volunteers’ skills, availability and time served. Of course, PMH knew just who to call to get a great database architect; JRP matched database guru Ken with PMH, who just completed their new volunteer database. PMH’s Volunteer Coordinator will be able to search track volunteer time better and search for the right person for any need they have. This will enable them to engage more volunteers, and let more people know about our community! Thanks to Ken for sharing his skills with PMH!
