Executive Director Social Impact Leadership Training

Join Jericho Road Pasadena’s Executive Director Leadership Program this September!

Spanning four full-day sessions each Friday in September, this intensive training is designed for new and aspiring Executive Directors/CEOs. Our program equips participants with essential skills and knowledge to excel in leadership roles within nonprofit organizations.

Program Details

30-hours intensive training over four full days. The program is concentrated on topics and tasks needed to lead an organization such as leadership, management, supervision, innovation, vision planning, fund development, strategic partnership, board development, staff development, program development, grantsmanship, marketing, and succession planning. The program and book are research-based from a study conducted for the Gianneschi Center on organizations who grew during the Great Recession against the trend.

  • Duration: Four Fridays in September 2024, from 8:30am to 4:15pm
  • Format: In-person sessions with lunch included
  • Instructor: Led by Zoot Velasco
  • Materials: Training includes Zoot’s latest book, and a full set of templates needed for leading organizations.

Diversity and Inclusion:

We strongly encourage people of color to apply, as they are underrepresented in nonprofit leadership roles. Our program aims to foster a diverse and inclusive environment.

Why Join?

Few organizations offer comprehensive training for new community leaders aiming to become Social Impact CEOs. Our program, led by Zoot Velasco who teaches at the college level and has authored a book on the subject, fills this void. Participants will gain best practices, a stronger network, and the confidence to manage the stresses of a CEO role. This training also supports DEI goals by preparing senior staff for executive positions.
