Throwback Thursday: Pasadena Senior Center

One of JRP’s favorite nonprofit partners is the Pasadena Senior Center (www.pasadenaseniorcenter.org). Most recently, JRP volunteer Bob Harrison completed a staff retreat for PSC. The staff really enjoyed the retreat and working with Bob, reporting that it brought the staff closer together, improved communication, and generated ideas that will have a positive impact on PSC’s future. Bob is also the co-owner of Green Street Restaurant, so donated food for the retreat; thank you for sharing your time, talent and zucchini bread with PSC!

We have completed numerous other projects for PSC, including social media marketing, creating an Android app, and writing newsletter articles.

PSC is not just for seniors; with a minimum age requirement of 50, PSC serves the Greatest Generation, Baby Boomers and even Gen Xers! Melanie is a little shocked by how soon she will be eligible to join PSC!

Jericho Road Pasadena connects skilled volunteers with nonprofits that offer critical services to under-served residents in their communities. Meeting this need allows nonprofit staff to focus on stronger delivery of services, thereby building better communities.
