Jericho Road Pasadena’s mission is to support other nonprofits. One of the ways JRP does this is to recruit, train and place board members. Cheryl Leutjen (cherylleutjen.com) attended JRP board training class in 2017 and joined the board of North East Trees (northeasttrees.org) that year. She loves the dual mission of NET to restore nature’s services while training at-risk youth to work in environmental jobs. Cheryl is on the board of North East Trees because people need trees!
More recently, JRP matched board member Bonnie Barnes, a recently retired project manager with NET. She is helping them develop a new strategic plan and working on business development for them to continue increasing the number of ecological and community projects they do.
