JRP bids adieu to 2 wonderful board members, Lynn Miyamoto and Bud Bishop, who termed off the board on June 30. Lynn served 6 years on the board, chairing the Fundraising Committee, which greatly built JRP’s funding infrastructure and saw us almost double our budget. Bud also serves as President and CEO of Pasadena Bio, a biotech incubator, and brought his governance wisdom from the business world to JRP. Thanks to both Lynn and Bud for your years of service to JRP! Although our board hasn’t met in person since January, we did have a small, distanced get-together to thank them; thanks to Board Vice Chair Roger Patterson for hosting us.
