Nonprofits Need Board Leadership More Than Ever

One of the many nonprofits stepping up to meet emerging needs is Friends in Deed, which improves the quality of life for low income and homeless individuals and families. They have seen a huge increase in demand for food and rental assistance, as well as many new ways to support their homeless clients. Given all the great work FID does, they need good board leadership more than ever and JRP has recently matched finance expert Chris Pelch on their board. Nonprofits always need board members with strong finance skills; although FID already has great members, they are happy to have another finance expert helping them navigate the challenges ahead. By having a strong financial infrastructure, FID is able to rise to the challenge of the current crisis, and will be feeding our hungry neighbors and helping people keep in their homes not only through the pandemic, but in the longer terms. Thanks, Chris, for stepping into a leadership role during this challenging time!
