Flashback Friday: Board Placement: League of Women Voters
Celebrating Women’s History Month by highlighting some of Pasadena’s great nonprofits that support women.
The League of Women Voters, Pasadena Area, has been very busy this year, so it was a great time to join their board! JRP marketing volunteer Gayle Tomita-Oswald joined their board over the summer, as she is passionate about our democracy and empowering voters. The League has really put Gayle’s digital marketing skills to work; she helped them transition all of their voter outreach and education programs online, quite an accomplishment this year!
Gayle also joined the JRP board this year; if you’re reading this, you’re seeing her handiwork, as she does a lot of our website maintenance and our marketing strategy. Thanks for being an uber volunteer and board member, Gayle!
