Board Member Placed at the Altadena Library Foundation
Jericho Road Pasadena has supported the wonderful Altadena Library for many years. The Altadena Library is integral to the strength of our community — inspiring curiosity, connecting neighbors, and celebrating the community’s unique spirit.
Most recently, JRP has placed a new board member at the Altadena Library Foundation, which was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2009, to focus on developing a stronger sense of philanthropy among our neighbors. Since that time, the Foundation has hosted events to raise friends and funds to meet structural needs as well as programming and outreach efforts.
The Foundation asked JRP to find a new board member in June 2021 – a tough time to find anyone able to make a long-term commitment during the ongoing pandemic. But JRP had the perfect fit! Ann Donahue is an Altadena resident who visits the library often with her family, but better still – she’s a nonprofit communications professional! Ann will be such an important asset to the ALF board, helping them connect more people and money to the many resources at the library. It is such a joy to connect great people like Ann to great organizations like ALF!
