Wildfire recovery is not only about rebuilding homes and communities, it’s also about processing experiences, sharing stories, and healing together.
We’re grateful to share this opportunity from one of our nonprofit partnersThe Plus Me Project offering funded adult storytelling workshops as part of their wildfire relief efforts.
Through guided personal storytelling, participants will:
• Reflect on and process their experiences
• Write and share in a supportive community environment
• Work with trained facilitators
• Have the opportunity to contribute to a published book preserving these stories as part of the historical record
Workshops are available:
• In-person in Highland Park
• Virtually
• Or hosted directly within community spaces
